Pop, rock

About:

"Prague singer and songwriter Jan Vytasek is one of the somewhat latent promising talents of the local pop-rock scene. Jan commands a fairly charismatic voice and his songs, founded on the most traditional sources of the seventies and eighties at times with an added touch of an american country music, overflow with a seldom heard melodic potential. It sounds like: Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Bryan Adams."

 Muzikus Magazine, CZ

Repertoire - original songs + covers:

The playlist contains original songs in English, as well as many cover versions of previously mentioned artists - Beatles and Paul McCartney, Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, Queen, U2, Sting, Elvis Presley, Rod Stewart, Creedence Clearwater, atd, and the band is focused on the best level of it's music level.  Jan's enterpretation of originals and covers is very authentic and characteristic and in accord with original versions. His original songs match naturally among the covers, so band can mix the originals and covers very easily.

At public concerts it is naturally about original songs, at events "for order", or the special performance for fanclubs, firm parties, balls, whatever, is in addition to coverversions and the balance is about the negotiation between band and organizer or client. For more info take a look at the playlist.

From the press and reviews

Considering the pop-rock influences levels, this is a very accomplished album, the quality of which will not likely be reached by any of the finalists of the presently running Czech-Slovakian Pop Idol. I am sure that Jan's performance on the concert stage must be quite an experience, and as soon as I get a chance, I will go see him. And I should add that pop-rock concerts are not exactly my favourite pastime.

Lost And Found CD Review - Rob Verdi - Musicserver, Slovakia

"Mr.  Vytasek certainly surprises with his vocals. However the longer you listen you come to appreciate that he has a love for music, and it comes through in his voice. He is, an artist that definitely deserves some attention."

Lost And Found CD Review - Jenny Delamotte - Music Nashville, USA

"In times of raging Czech-Slovakian Pop Idols there have been some splendid Czech or Slovakian enterpreters a bit missed out. One of them is Prague's singer and songwriter Jan Vytásek. This one has managed to release his debut album Lost And Found even without th support of major label and achieved a respectable acclaim of the public. "The Czech Bon Jovi" is struggling through the local pop-rock scene and is well on the way to overthrow the rivals outcoming of various TV talent shows."
